The Cave
by Eleanor Burgess
Saturday, April 1st at 7pm

As winters get colder and food gets scarce, a makeshift tribe of cavemen struggles to decide whether to remain in the cave they call home or head to greener pastures in the south. This new play by Eleanor Burgess shows us the lives that we evolved to lead, exploring our relationship with nature, our place in the universe, and what relationships mean in a time of survival.

Presented by Affiliate Artist Todd Brian Backus.

Love’s A Bitch
by Dave Dalton, freely adapted from Don Gil de las calzas verdes by Tirso de Molina
Monday, April 3rd at 7pm

Dumped, abandoned, and humiliated, Doña Juana has been jilted by her boyfriend in favor of a richer woman in the big city. But Juana discovers what she’s really made of by dressing as a man, stealing her boyfriend’s identity, and seducing the rich woman before he can reach her. In this free adaption of Tirso’s Spanish Golden Age classic, Dave Dalton shows that love can hurt, heal, and kick a little ass.

Presented by Affiliate Artist Abigail Killeen.
